1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you" or "Customer") and LogNorth ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the lognorth.com website as well as our self-hosted debugging software.
By purchasing, downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
2. The Service: Self-Hosted Software
LogNorth provides self-hosted debugging software. This means you download, install, configure, and run the software on your own server infrastructure. You are responsible for providing and managing the necessary hosting environment.
We provide the software license; you control its operation and the data it collects. We do not access, store, or process your application data.
3. License Grant
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to:
- Install and run LogNorth on your servers.
- Collect debugging data from applications you own or have permission to operate.
Updates: Your license includes minor version updates for life and major version updates for one year after purchase.
4. Payments and Guarantee
Access to the Service requires a one-time license purchase fee of $100.
30-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you're not 100% satisfied, contact us within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked.
5. Support
LogNorth includes email support. I'm a solo developer building this product. I'll respond as quickly as I can, usually within a few business days.
No SLA. There are no guaranteed response times. If you need enterprise-level support with formal commitments, this isn't the right fit.
6. Restrictions on Use
You must not:
- Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or redistribute the Service.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software.
- Modify or create derivative works without written consent.
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable laws.
- Remove copyright notices or proprietary rights notices.
- Circumvent license verification mechanisms.
7. Customer Responsibilities
As the operator of a self-hosted service, you're responsible for:
- Providing and securing the server infrastructure.
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining the software.
- Ensuring security of collected data.
- Complying with all applicable privacy laws.
- Implementing data backups and disaster recovery.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LogNorth will not be liable for:
- Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Lost profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities.
- Security breaches, data loss, or corruption.
- Downtime or service unavailability.
- Issues caused by improper configuration or usage.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
LogNorth is provided "as is" and "as available." We expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
